This film was produced while making 'Crop Over', a project by the artist Sonia Boyce. Crop Over festival in Barbados comes out of the convergence of different histories and spaces. Grand Kadooment Day is the pinnacle of the Crop Over festival. Surrounded by Mas bands, dancers and street revellers, we are submerged into the heady world of masquerade and the carnivalesque..
