Filmed over a Saturday night in Cardiff, South
Wales, this double screen piece observes the drunken behaviour of
the revellers at closing time in Cardiff city centre.
This film maps the ritualistic behaviour of
men and women after a night of binge drinking and partying. Digitally
slowed down and stripped of sound, interactions between the protagonists
are heightened and emphasised. The inebriated state of the revellers
lead to drunken posturing and strange performances deliberately
directed at the camera.
